Excellent! We loved Mexico a lot and miss it. Belize is beautiful but very expensive... make sure to leave Mexico with a full tank of gas and a lot of cheap beer! Thoroughly enjoyed Guatemala as well. Keep your eyes peeled for us and we will too. We ship to Colombia in early May. Will look you up on Facebook and instagram when we get better internet!

dumb question, is quality diesel available thorough center and south America?

No thats a good question! We haven't had any problems with diesel so far but we did note that as soon as we crossed into Guatemala, the diesel was advertised as low sulfur as opposed to ultra low sulfur which is required by 2007 and newer US diesels. There are many writeups on it so I won't go into it here. Also, there are filling stations everywhere so getting fuel is very easy. In Mexico, diesel is a little over $3/gal, Belize $5/Gal, Guatemala, $2.75/Gal, El Salvador $2.50/Gal. In all countries south of Mexico that we have visited, diesel is cheaper than regular gas.
