Dumb noob questions about slide-in campers

I'm completely new to the idea of a slide-in camper for my future Super Duty Crew Cab. I'm "spatially challenged" right now with my regular cab and hope to find a crew soon. In any event I have a few basic questions:

I travel with an auxiliary fuel tank (toolbox tank) that would be very problematic to try to move from its current location in the bed. Are there slide-ins that will work with toolboxes/auxiliary fuel tanks?

How do you get them in and out of the truck? We would primarily be using it during the warmer months on long weekends and for a week at a time, but the rest of the time I will need the truck for daily commuting and hauling equipment/firewood. Is there anywhere I can go to find a video of someone putting one in/taking it out?

I didn't bother watching the videos but I've been loading and unloading my camper since 2005. The process is fairly simple. Electric jacks lift the camper, you back in, and then reverse the switch and let it sit onto the bed of the truck. Make sure you plug in the electric harness and check the tail lights before actually loading it completely. The you have (4) tie downs which hold the camper onto the truck. It's very simple.

Even after almost (6) years I can say that sometimes I struggle to align the truck and camper. Other times I back right in.

Some thoughts............. I wouldn't purchase a camper with Happi Jacs. They've had lots of problems (mine included). There are other options. Also, I wish I had looked for a side door entry. It sucks towing with the rear door. If you plan to stay on pavement, I'd go with a dually. I spent a year on rv.net and learned quite a bit before I purchased. You should check that site out.

You'll have to forget the toolbox and fuel can. They can't stay in the bed.

Check out my link below and you can see what I've got.

If you had an auxillary toolbox tank in the bed of a long bed and bought a shortbed camper it might work out. You'd end up with a gap behind the cab (above the fuel tank) before the body of the camper started with the cab over portion over top it all. Not my ideal but not out of the realm of possibility.

just fyi. dumb and noob are two words that when used in a derogatory manner, are highly dissuaded on this site.

This site seeks to be as "flame-less" as possible. You should know better, Mr. "50 post Diesel-dude", than to think that seemingly basic questions, aren't welcome. :)

Welcome, search, read, and ask away, kind sir!

Ha-no disrespect meant-it's my penchant for self deprecating humor. BTW, 50 posts...time flies-it feels like I just got here!
