E150 Extended Rear Section Van

Today I went and looked at an old 1989 Camper Van E150.

What was unusual with this E150 1/2 ton van was the long wheel base with the Ford Factory extended rear body section. "I" have never seen an E150 van with the E250/E350 extended Super Van extended rear body section.

Am I missing something or is this something very unusual for a Ford E150 1/2 Ton Van?

I didn’t think they ever made more than one wheel base length at the factory.
Maybe a rare one for production or a custom job someone built?

Let's forget the long wheel base comment as the wheel base is the same like all other Ford Vans after looking at the van however I have never seen the rear Super Van extension on an E150 chassis. The wheelbase is 138 inches.

Just did a VIN decoder on the van. The van was an incomplete vehicle E150 Cargo Van however the van has factory windows all around. The VIN decoder describes the van body as " Extra/Super/ Quad/Double/King/Extended".
