Researching my next, and hopefully last build.
Post '08 E350 EB V-10, with UJOR conversion, and Fiberine High top.
I'm looking for info on companies that sell pre made kits for camper conversions.
Going to be a minimalist type of thing.
I appreciate any and all constructive advice.
Thanks.

Check out Trail Kitchens in Truckee, CA. We had their stuff shipped to a local shop that built out our E250 interior, before shipping to UJOR a couple of years ago. Lot's of options.

SWEET!! tfpu. tracks on ceiling are cool. I have often wondered what current draw would be on electric fridge? Currently, when parked, I run my fridge on propane. Considering no propane on next build. What are the two fans for on 2nd pic?

L-Tracks anchor the Campo bags.
Fans installed to help keep the inverter cool.
Dometic barely uses any electricity and compressor is really quite. It can run for days on fully charged Li's. Van also has solar to keep the Li's charged. Upgraded alternator lets me run a 12k BTU Nomadic AC off the Li's while driving and keep them fully charged. Our dogs love it.

Do you have auxiliary heating in rear?

We run a Planar Portable Diesel Air Heater Planar 2D-12V on kerosene instead of diesel. The lowest setting at 18F ambient is still enough to keep the van warm.
Check out my posts under the following threads on this site:

It's a great setup if you don't mind an external heater (my preference to minimize CO poisoning risk).

Ok, thanks. I will check that out.
For me, needs: fridge, heat, water, stove, porta potti.

Unless prevented by weather, all our cooking is outdoors. Backup for bad weather is hot water from an electric kettle and a meal prepped inside a Backpacking Food Cozy Feed Bag. Nobody, including the dogs, would want to be in the van if I used a porta potti inside the van.

Most of my camping is in cold and windy conditions, so I always cook inside. Can't use pit toilets, and I am alone, so no issues pooping inside.

We seem to be drifting here but I recently finished my build with a new, clean and nice PP and I still hate it. I'm considering the move to a composting or at least separating type toilet like the Boxio or similar.
I stay off-road as much as possible in my van and simply hate knowing there is a sloshing tank of waste back there, even if it doesn't leak. It still stinks on occasion.

As for modular kits there is a recent thread on the SMB forum about this. Have you seen it?

I have enjoyed watching your build on the SMB forum. Surprised you have issues with PP. I have never had a problem. Interesting concept on Boxio. That's my ,modular kit thread on the SMB forum.

Thanks. My aversion to liquid camper toilets is just personal preference. I don't like the smell of no chemicals. I don't like the smell of chemicals. I don't like the smell of waste. I'm too cheap to buy the right additives but not to cheap to buy a more expensive dry toilet, maybe? The grass is always greener, and not just on the other side of the fence.

I will say that waste bins have been easier to find lately than public toilets to dump the porta potty. I dug a hole and dumped it once. Anyway, I'm just in a **** mood about it. Man, the puns never stop with this subject.

What were we talking about?
