Does anybody know if a 4WC Eagle fits on a 1997-2003 f-150 ?

I have an Eagle on a 2007 Dodge Ram. I had to make a platform to raise it about 3 1/2" to clear the bedsides and cab. Stan from 4wheel sent me a video they made that has some ideas on making a smaller camper fit full size trucks. Here is the link http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jpK4gJbQcKU I like the fact that the camper doesn't stick out any farther than my mirrors so I don't worry about tight places. Had to space out the jacks to clear the bedsides too.

The main thing clearance wise is bed depth and cab height. What are your measurements? Bedside clearance on the Eagle is 17 1/2" and cab clearance is 41 1/2". All I did was stand 2x4's on end and nail 1/4" plywood on top and I have enough clearance.

Thanks guys, I'll go see the truck truck I have in mind and take measurements, the reason for the 1997-2003 f-150 is the beds are the most narrow of most generations of f-150's

Eagle is made for a narrower bed truck. As long as you have the platform high enough to clear your bedsides you won't have any worries. If I get off work early enough I'll take some pictures of the camper on the truck.

Yes I have, I also measured the trucks in question, It's very doable, Now I'm battling with , the little bit of elbow room I would be gaining versus the Mpg's on my ranger.
It's not a huge difference if you look at the manufacturers estimates [ which are not realistic ..imho ] I know what my truck gets and buying an unknown vehicle's mpg's,
not that I wouldn't trust the sellers....much. So... very on the fence.
