Michelle, thanks for the tour of the FX. It turned out great! What was the final suspension set-up of the UTE?

Glad you liked the FX. We're pretty happy with it and so was someone else who bought our demo at Expo! The Ute has a shackle kit only which is the same as the FX. It is upgrade-able.

It was great to see such an EC presence at Expo - seemed like the weather didn't do much to discourage anyone who was seriously looking at product, so hope it was a productive show for you.

Watching you from a ridge. In Alaska. I'm cold.
At least EC let us in to see the interiors...ATW had some issues with that, unfortunately.

more pictures of the fx please or even a video walk through of the unit would be a huge help for those of us that can't get out bend Oregon but are very interested in seeing the new unit.

I'd post up the vid I made while I spoke with Michelle, but I'd probably kick off some epileptic episodes with sensitive folks, the way I do my camera phone work. :D

i have been in contact with michelle about the earth cruiser and we keep going back and forth. to be honest this is my wifes doing not mine lol. i really like the earth cruiser as an all in one expedition vehicle. our trip will consist of living full time in the unit until our new house is built which is about 1 years time at that time we would be looking to sell the ec and get back to a normal life, thats the plan anyway.

now with the introduction of this fx model and he lower starting point for a fully optioned rig it is even more attractive and has since surpassed everything else i can think of for the money and functionality this rig provides. michelle has invited us to come out to see them in person which i think is a wise and understandable request but our schedules simply will not permit it. and with only a handful of pictures spread across the internet its not exactly like there is a lot of detailed walkthrough videos of the regular earth cruiser at least the us spec model.

any additional pictures of the interior would help at this point. my wife is particularly interested in the bathroom area in the fx as it looks significantly different than the pop top models.

Great pics, looking to find out more. Do you have any spec sheets on the FX? There were some things on the exp that disqualified it for our uses but the new layout might work.

Thanks in advance.

I see the fx is a fixed top only? If thatsthe case, unfortunately it will still not work. I'm Height Challenged. Ha.

How height challenged are you? The interior is 6'7". Interested to know what disqualified the EXP.

I totally appreciate your responses and willingness to provide answers on this forum. It is to be commended.

For the record, I am indeed more height challenged than that and I totally understand that is my issue and any disqualification is not a reflection of any meaningful inadequacy of your rig. It is truly awesome.

It's actually so close that it is still worth pursuing with you guys so I will be reaching out via PM for some further dialoge and maybe a visit. Mainly BC its not fair to you to try and do business on an open Internet forum and don't want to put you in a bad position unknowingly.

thanks again for your willingness to post info here. Talk soon.
