East coast 4wc owners question?

just got my fleet after getting a new liner(guaranteed no leak by dealer) ,seems to be an excess of water inside when i got back home and set it up,

dealer tells me it is built up condensation from being there for a while.

do these rigs have condensation problems just sitting on the rig unused?

Where was the water? was it the roof liner and exactly where was it wet or stained?

I do not have first hand knowledge so being up front on that, but I have a Fleet in Idaho that is garaged so I can leave door open for ventllation. Several neighbors have FWC campers nearby that are left outside, on the street or driveway and not covered at all right now and we just had a bunch of snow. I doubt they would leave them uncovered like that if condensation was a problem when not in use.

FWC campers are fairly airtight so I would be suspicious of what you were told. They are so airtight that one owner reported he did not know that and slept one night with everything closed up and was awakened by the CO2 alarm which saved his life. Have you looked really close for evidence of leaks? Do you have roof rack? -those screws might have leaked. I have heard the door window often leaks because it is not well sealed. I have noticed a water stain running down from the bottom of that window and am planning on testing it as soon as we get warm enough weather to hose it down. FWC does not make the door so they have no quality control over it.

The dealer had replaced the tent because of a horrendous leak when i bought it from them in nov.20210215_111404.jpg20210215_111422.jpg, now guaranteed not to leak, dried it out when after i got home after my first post, alittle rain last night , there was so much water in the stove ,the jets were clogged with water, took an hour and a half to blow dry out. and that was just a sprinkle. dried that out this morning and have it set up with out the thermal liner and buckets for tonights rain. a little coming in northeast corner, have a bucket there too, the real rain is in a couple days.
yes it has roof racks.
and no,i have not screwed with them.
too bad the video off the stove choking on water wont load, it was even worse when i got back from the dealer......

rained about 1/2 last night, nothing in buckets ,folded camp with tent still wet from rain, drove around a while, opened tent to let it dry and there was a little water in stove from southwest corner again and a little in the north -middle.

so does driving force water back?????

dealer said he'd buy it back but i want this thing to work,i really do.

talked to 4wc in cali.
explained it could be coming from window.so driving could force water in, also front rubber seal may be damaged
start at bottom and work your way up.
ok
storm coming thur

my windows in the canvas leak a little when driving. I have an older camper and the windows have been redesigned since though
