That's some nice router work on that Walnut. I used to build cabinets for a living, and have extensive experience with routers and I would not have had the patience to perform that task! lol! Thank god someone fella makes these and offered them up on ebay!

Nice looking tools. There's a similar tool for wire wheel knockoffs for British sportscars made from baltic birch plywood.

I've put lids on things at altitude in Colorado that I haven't been able to take off 10,000 feet lower in Missouri. I had a polycarbonate box in my camp kitchen that I couldn't open for two years between trips to the mountains. The lower pressure inside can make a lid VERY hard to remove. Any chance that Sceptre MFC with the tight cap was "vacuum sealed"?

That could explain the sucked in sides. I'm sure it was under vacuum, but I don't know how, as it wasn't mine when it was closed.

I just use a strap wrench. It works on MFCs, MWCs, and even stuck pickle jars.

I ordered one of the plastic ones from the ebay seller. I also informed them of our forums here. they seem very nice. will let you know how it works when it gets here.

Man I love the idea but the total cost with shipping seems on the high side ($52+). I think I'll go with a strap wrench as it could be used for other things (like a stuck oil filter).

Almost the same price as the MFC!
Plus they won't ship outside the US....
