Egt temps?

To any one that has a gauge what kind of egts do you get? I have a 06 4m50 and towing up a grade it can get into 1200f if your not careful.

Is that pre or post turbo? If post, how far away from the turbo is the pyro?

650C geez I hope it's pre turbo... Even then it's warm for a stock motor i think..

Pre turbo, sorry should have mentioned that. Yah the 05-07 had a micro turbo and I dint think it's letting any exhaust out of the engine

I'm using OBD II to pull some numbers from my US 2015 FG.
I see post-turbo temps of ~455c on long climbs. ~550c during regen.
I've been letting it cool to 205c or below before I shutdown.
