Hello all,

i just got the truck out on the first day of my bands tour, we are going from northern california (arcata) down the coastline to play music, busk, have fun etc etc.

My radiator blew out, the whole bottom section is gone. i think it was because of kneeling on top of it and i put a dent on it.
any amount of coolant will leak out the bottom instantly pretty much.
in any case we are in trouble, i cannot find a radiator anywhere!
already waited three days for the carquest guy at kens parts store here in arcata to send me a radiator.
They accidentaly shipped it out to oregon. so i'd have to wait til tuesday and its friday.
can't drive the car much and i think when the coolant was spraying everywhere on the highway some fluid got into the airbox.
the car is having trouble starting. it will start but its acting funny. i don't want to drive it anymore than i have to without having it checked out.

I have money! need help as fast as possible. willing to wait another day if possible but we need to get on the road and get this thing to a shop.
I'd be happy to pay anyone to come down here with a spare radiator and help me out. again, i'm in the arcata area. northern cali. thank you:)

they have a 1997 montero 3.5 in a junkyard in eureka. Are those radiators interchangeable? i have a 96 3.0.

Apparently not.

There's a 3.0 radiator in Anderson @ All Car 92 miles away. 1-800-959-2552
Also All-Star, 112 miles in Coming, 1-530-824-2880

Look for 16.75"h x 23.5"w x 1.25"d
"Top and bottom "header" dimension is 2 9/16" x 23 11/16". I guess that's the outside measurement of the top and bottom caps.
1995/1996, manual or auto.

Others can chime in - but I say Don't drive it at all in this condition! Aluminum motor parts and no cooling is bad! what nwoods is saying is any radiator that fits and has the same size hoses could be "jimmied" in. I don't know if a auto tranny changes this since you have AT cooling lines too in most radiators I have worked on.
