Enclosing an Open Tailgate Setup

Well went to set up my cot tonight in the back of the new truck, and the cot is too large for the tailgate to close, so if I want to use this cot I will need to leave the tailgate down and the topper/shell window open as well.

I was wondering if anyone has rigged a system that keeps the weather and bugs out while keeping both the tailgate and topper open. Interested to see what people have come up with Thanks.

I have the second one. Works fairly well to close in the open tailgate. They're getting harder to find.
