I've used similar containers from Crate & Barrel in an ice chest to keep the contents free of any melted ice. They stack nice, but still take up more room than good 'ol ZipLock freezer bags.

I never trust ZipLocks...at least not one at a time. For anything fluid, such as award winning ribs:chef:, I trust no less than three freezer type (extra thick) ZipLocks at a time. That's a bit of a hassle. But I've cleaned up messes from just using one or two at a time.

I've used the Lock and Lock with great success, but at the expense of some space.
