Thanks for posting your pics, bluejeep! I bet those were way, way cheaper than the Engel ones.

Well I wouldn't say 'way way' cheaper. Maybe a bit. If I remember they were between $6 and $9 each.

New things for the fridge after a little motivation from this thread.

Question about the two zone baskets. I have the MT45. Do I need to bend the basket lips to help with fit so the lid closes easier? The lid seems a bit tight on the close with the baskets in there.

I found once they have weight in the baskets they fit down in better ? but I did bend mine a touch by just pressing in the sides but again fill it up first then see ?

You will like the temp gauge.

Mine were tight fitting at first too, and I found out like Honu said that having weight in them and getting pressed down by the lid will help.

Have not had to bend mine yet.
But since my fridge opens now from the side, that might have made a difference.

I bent the lips on mine down and it was pretty hard to do...thats some tough steel. It fits very nice now.

I would strongly recommend the $6 fridge lock for the MT45 (didn't see it in our picture). It is so nice to open it without the lid slipping off. Just push down on the little plastic peice, and you can take the lid off without a problem!
