Engine Knocking - Overheating, Help! This is my SECOND 2F in less than a year!

The video may accentuate it, but it sure sounds like a mechanical knock (I.E) something hitting something else.
How about a broken motor mount? Loose fan or fan shroud. Oh, oh, oh, over tight valve cover.

Seriously, the valve cover thing is real, the 2F has a stamped valve cover and if you snug the bolts too much, it distorts and the rockers tap against it. Sounds JUST like if you left your screwdriver in there. Guess how I know that.

Checked motor mounts and fan/shroud. All is in sound condition. I got some 20w-50 I'm gonna put in and try again

x4 that its hard to kill the 2F, but it sounds like you are trying to avoid that by not pushing it too hard.

Before you put in new 20w-50 (the thicker oil might help quiet the valvetrain noise a little, but it won't mask something major in the bottom end), drop your oil pan and see if something is not right while you have it drained. You should be able to inspect the bottom end and see if there is anything unusual in the pan before you replace the oil. Also, take a look at the oil when you drain it. See if it is an odd color?
