Just an update, I cleaned out the IAC, but the problem remained, so I bought a new one for about $140. The day I bought it, the problem cleared up (typical), so I have the new valve sitting in my truck waiting.
In the meantime, I found some cheaper ones online, so I'm gonna order one of those, and when it arrives, return the expensive one (which I bought cause the other ones would've taken over a week to arrive).
I'll keep the cheap one in my car in case this problem reoccurs which I think is likely, and when that happens I'll throw in the new one.
