will there be any samples to look at in Hollister by any chance?

Yep, sure will! We had it on display last weekend at the Off Road Expo in LA, but we didn't have it running. I'll have it running in the back of the 100 Series at the Overland Rally Hollister. We're going to put it through the paces for a while. Stop by.

Cheers,

Hi there,

How is the quality compared to the other fridges you sell? Any talk of Isotherm adding their ASU unit to these fridges? Price point seems very good...

My initial thoughts on the quality of the product are pretty high. The fit and finish is very good. The lid is tight, with an easy to use latch. Very solid construction. The Danfoss compressor is as solid as you can get. I am looking forward to using it for a while to see how it performs.

I believe the Indel B fridge is a great medium duty fridge. A perfect entry level unit that offers a lot of value. I believe the National Luna fridge is one you could put in your truck and drive around the world without a concern. Each has it's place in the market.

I haven't heard of incorporating the ASU technology in this particular line. But I will let you know if it does.

IMHO looks like a rebadged Waeco/Dometic. Same type of controls, the handles, the look of the thing.

Not bad mouthing the product cause my Waeco has been bullet proof for the two years+ we've had it.

It looks just like my Waeco. I am curious why not just bring the Waeco/Dometic label verses the rebadged brand in? The Waecos are great fridges and mine has worked great for 2 plus years now. Glad to see a sponor carring these verses having to go to an RV place.

The similarities of the two fridge lines are quite clear. I know that Indel B is working closely with the manufacturer of this fridge, and it is sourced from China as we note on our site. I have sent correspondence asking Indel B to give us a little more understanding on the origin of the line. I will let you know what I hear back. Thanks for your comments.

I have heard a little. The response I received was that the Indel B Travel Box line is not manufactured from the Dometic tooling, nor is it a rebranded product of theirs. I will continue to press on the differences.

Thanks,

Equipt Sends Off The Indel B For Independent testing!

Guys we wanted to know where the New Indel B Travel Box Fridge Freeze fell in the line of available fridges on the market. After a week of intense test the lab has made its final report!:wings:
We will release the findings next week, stay tuned......:ylsmoke:

My question to you, from an average wage earner, is "What reason is there to pay $1400 for a National Luna fridge when the Indel B will suffice for keeping veggies and unripe fruit/next-day fruit cool (I am vegan, so no mayo/meats/cheeses to keep cold, and I don't drink sodas/alcohol)?" Or there isn't? It looks like a great deal for what I need it for. I certainly will consider it the day I can afford one.
