I am not familiar with any change in the seats either. It may stem from something specific to the seats in South Africa. Not sure. The covers in the photos are on a 2011 model, I believe. Take a good look and let me know if you see anything of significance. Head rest or arm rest difference maybe? If not, I would bet that these covers would work just fine on your Trail Edition. We could always try, and if they didn't fit right send them back to me. I am good with that. Let me know what you think.
