How do you attach the shower hoop to your exo-skeleton? Does it just hinge up or is a separate piece you put in place when you need it?

It's a seperate piece...slides into two receivers welded to the rack and tightens with wingnuts. It stores up top on the rack when not used.

Finally had a dry sunny day and a little time to roll out the awning yesterday. We really like the ARB awning. Its quality and design is great for this build. We are going to modify a 4 person tent addition to the front end of the canopy for when our son decides to tag along for extra sleeping quarters. Eventually I plan to buy a wall set or the ARB screen room that attaches to the awning.

Added a couple pics of the led pods lit up at semi dark also. They will come in handy when we are camping in the boondocks.

Hi - How did you vent the A/C and how does work? I've heard window units mounted inside can lose a lot of their efficiency?

Very inspirational!

It works great. We have to turn it down or off or we have a frozen egg. lol

I'll have to try to find the pics I took detailing the a/c install but I will try to explain. The unit is installed between two storage areas. We sealed each of these areas off, as well as where the unit itself is installed. This creates a duct so to speak. We cut a 4" hole in each side of the trailer so there is one 4" hole in each of the sealed storage areas. This serves as fresh air intake to the unit which is pulled from the side vents on the unit itself. We cut two 4" holes in the front of the trailer where the unit is installed which serves as the exhaust. As long as your window unit can bring in fresh air from outside and expel the heat the unit creates it will work as intended. The intake and exhaust air needs to be seperate from each other. Many people dont allow for the fresh air intake or have the unit drawing and expeling the same air so the unit wont perform well or efficiently. We have covers that screw into our air holes when traveling or not in use. They are also screened to keep the bugs out when they are open and being used. There is a drain hose for any excess condensation the unit creates run out front and down to the ground. The unit we have uses condensation water to cool the unit though so we have yet to see any water draining out on the ground. It all works pretty dang good. We have a Maxxfan in the ceiling and use that in ceiling fan mode to push the heat down and help circulate everything since the ac is located at the floor level. If i can find the pics I will come back and post them.

I realized I haven't checked in in awhile. We didn't camp as much as we hoped last year but we did go camping! Everything worked as planned. The jeep pulled the egg great here in the mountains. We stopped and got it weighed on our first trip out. It was loaded with our camping gear and kayaks and came in just under 2300lbs. It pulled smoothly with no towing issues. We added an ARB room to the awning and love having that additional space to our tiny egg. We are learning to work with the limited space we have and just trying to enjoy being simple while camping. The egg has been stored all winter but we will be pulling her out soon as we get ready for a trip to Bantams Jeep Festival next month. Thanks for following along with our build. Now we are enjoying it!

This thing is spectacular!! I think I found my Expo Trailer 2.0 build! (Pretty sure my other half just got cold shivers when I said 2nd trailer build)

Did you ever take this to be weighed when you got it done?
