Expedition Amado, the grand CO caravan!

The Central Overland convoy to OEX11 was a 6 day trip across the southern border of the central / western US. We started in Marble Falls, TX and ended up in Amado, AZ. On the way we travelled through the hills of Texas, Big Bend country, the high desert of southern New Mexico, and finally made our way through the mountain passes into Arizona.

Most of these shots were taken by Central Overland Photographer Scott Brown. The pictures are out of order.

The pics are out of order, but the route started in the Texas Hill County. We travelled for six days and 1300 miles (mostly dirt), and arrived dusty and exhausted in Amado, AZ for the Overland Expo 2011.

I was honored to travel with such fine company, and I was continually awed by the breathtaking scenery we experienced each day. This trip was one for my history books, and epic journey across some of the most beautiful country in the US.
