Expedition Camper/Trailer for extreme cold living?

OK - great to hear. So what was it?

X2! So, yeah, what's the answer?

Just came back from a one month tour in my Horizon Adventure trailer and encountered A LOT of cold weather, including snow. The EZN-Awn Tent is pretty useless in the cold and had to use a Mr. Buddy heater full time overnight to keep warm.

I guess we can make this into a thread about the question that wasnt asked,

"What are some things we can do to help stay warm in cold weather"

-warmer sleeping bags
-insulated walls in camper trailers
-can one hang insulated tent walls inside a pop-up?

any body have small heater suggestions?

For a small heater, I use my Big Buddy heater.

It will heat close to 400 sq ft, and has the Low Oxygen Cutoff.

It's desigened for tents, and works great. The Big Buddy also has a small built in fan, that runs on 4D cell batteries.

It's a bit big for my RTT, but I use it to warm it up inside, so I can get dressed:coffeedrink:

I use a heavy sleeping bag, so I don't need to have heat all night in the RTT.

While using a friends pop up tent camper, I did run it all night, and it worked great.
