Let me do some digging, I can't readily recall the name but we used that system in Central America too. Thanks for watching!
"... tore up from the floor up." Hahaha classic!
I've always been into road trips and being out doors but watching Expedition Overland really put a fire under me and got me building my rig, and encouraging my friends to do the same. This year my wife and I drove cross country to go explore what Colorado had to offer, and camped the entire time. I used things that worked from your trips, and noted things that didn't and put that knowledge to use on my adventure. You're sponsors should be very pleased because the items they are giving you to showcase, I've been buying up, and honestly they have all served me very well. The new smaller videos detailing the new builds are great. I kind of wish there were build videos on the older rigs, the Tacoma and the 100. The evolution in the parts you've incorporated into your builds has been interesting. Your newest gear is showing a new level of quality. Just for giggles I looked up all the Goose Gear stuff and the new fridge, stove set up. Good god those are nice, and pricey. Gives me something to aspire to.
Keep up the good work fellas. My friends, family and I are inspired watching and learning from you trips.

Yes, that's a prototype XV-3.
After watching this series, there will be about 5 rigs doing this trail in the next couple of years. There will be lots of planning and gear to get. But we are all looking forward to doing it
Can you guys share any plans for future expedition locations?
Do you gentlemen only do one expedition a year or more frequent?
Just a suggestion....maybe a couple smaller expeditions done during the year could be made into a 1 hour episode every so often to keep the fans satisfied. Like a 2 night trip over the weekend to a couple different "more local" locations.
would love to see an expedition high up somewhere in the Rocky;s or some other mountain ranges......the wheeling and the views would be epic.
thanks for your efforts.
What axle rating did you spec for the prototype XV-3? Did you go with something a bit lighter than the XV-2? If so what and how does it ride?
I finally had enough free time to watch all 3 episodes here and there. As usual some aspects of it get on my nerves and I have to roll my eyes at some of the behavior, but I enjoyed the show no doubt. I'm like that guy on Cinemasins, nobody is safe from nitpicking.
I got pretty cracked up when Clay was on the radio and used the word "Expedition" what seemed like 5 times in one sentence. "This is the Expedition leader of Expedition Overland on an Overland Expedition of the Expedition Overland Expedition."
Whoever operates the drone, that was some nice work. I mean scenery shots are pretty simple, anybody can fly a straight line, but there there were a few low level tracking shots that required maneuvering I was quite impressed with and got my attention as being tricky.
