Vehicle notes: Peter and Stefanie bought the Defender from a German couple in Mendoza, Argentina. The German couple had driven it from Maryland to Ushuia, Argentina and back up to Mendoza. The LR modifications were done in Germany.

The campground is Quinta Lala in Cusco, Peru.

There are a couple of new rigs in the campground. I hope to get them interviewed in the next day or two.

We'll be leaving in a few days so the frequency of updates will probaby slow down for a while. We may visit a couple more spots of overlander concentration in the next few months.

I'll post on anything we see along the route and what we find if we make those stops.

I know of one Mog in Argentina that just retired from more than 15 years of overlanding. We are looking forward to meeting them and learning from them when we get into that area. That promises to be an interesting interview.
