Expedition Trailer and a Conventional Campground

the campgrounds we stayed at along our expedition out west were pretty accepting of having it at a tent site. there was 1 time where it was a no wheels rule so we had to set up in a conventional camp spot but other than that we just told them it was a pop top and were fine. other times it was nice to plug into shore power if we were going to be there for 2 days so we decided on a spot with hookups.

biggest issues we had were answering all the questions about the trailer/tent combo. I must have had 60+ conversations about who, how, where it was built. and those are the hr long variety. nice aspect was all the free beer that came along with the conversations :coffeedrink:

I had 2 people waiting at my site as I backed in and offering to help me set mine up, until they realized they had no idea how to open it up. They just watched and drank beer.

I guess this thread has the power to become a sticky one?
Nice stories about what I was doing wrong in the beautiful USA since 1994! :coffee:

Please carry on. I'm just learning more about it! :wings:
