Expedition Vehicles - Local Style

One of the things that has, from time to time, made me check my desire to get more than what I need in favor of true utility are the rigs that I have seen in my travels. The image attached is not offered as the butt of a joke but is, rather, offered as my appreciation of people with the same primal interests as I (getting out in the field), but who must do so on a more modest budget. This image shows a classic Plymouth (I think), converted to diesel and manual tranny, with an "expedition trailer" attached. The photo was taken in Paracas, Peru (which, by the way, offers spectacular off roading and stunning landscapes).

If you have an image to offer that reminds us to be modest and appreciate what we have please post. I'd love to see such images.
