We love it out here, we both grew up in Oregon. I’m originally from southern Oregon and my wife is from the Portland area. We are still amazed every time we go out that we can find something new to check out.

We have been trying out some different conservation projects to motivate us to spend more time on the road. In the last 2 months I have spent more time sleeping in the 4runner or my bed at work than at home!

I would love to do that, unfortunately I am working this 4th of July.

Last year we went to the parade and fireworks on Condon, we camped at cottonwood canyon.

We are bummed that neither project went well this year but unfortunately the weather was pretty unpredictable and my poor wife got so sick. But we plan on doing the grouse project again next year.

We're making a run along the coast from San Diego to Port Angeles,Wa in late September. Students should be in school and high pressure should keep the sun out we hope. Really a beautiful state.
