Ok Were to start.

The Begining.
One Week off work? What too do.
Mope around the house ??
Errr Nope.

Pack the D1 and head up to the top of Tasmania:smiley_drive: as I reside in Hobart, the oposite end.
So I left Hobart bright and early and headed for Launceston, then to a rather Quaint Country Town called Scotsdale and then onto the Seaside Town of Bridport.

Upon my arrival at Bridport I Booked a Non Powered site for my tent and me and proceded to Venture out.
I Found the Track start that takes you from Bridport to Bellingham via the Coast and almost got bogged in the sand just looking for the start of the track, lazy me should have aired down sooner rather than later oops 2 Excited. :)

Anyway, after locating said track took I some pics and headed back to camp for Dinner of Sausages, Bacon,Tomatoes, eggs. Coffee.
Yum Tummy full time to explore some more.
Once Dinner and dishes were sorted I Headed off towards another Small Country Town called Gladstone so I could turn off around 30 k,s before hand and visit a lovelly place called Tomahawk, situated on the ocean front. WOW
Beautifull Place even at Night time.

After a short walk on the beach I decided it was time to Head back to camp to sleep, But ended up with tooth ache till 2 am ouch. Finnaly fell asleep.

:wings:Wow I once again awoke to another splendid day, Blue skies and Coffee:coffeedrink:, followed by Kellogs and warm milk, yum.

Fuel the Disco up and on the road again, this time I was heading too St Hellens, another Small Fishing Village located on the east Coast of Tasmania.
Here I visited the following attractions.
The Gardens, The Bay of Fires, and Binalong Bay. The purpose of my trip was two fold.
1 Too Relax.
2 To Recon the whole area, and find new Free Campsites with privacy close to child friendly sand and sea.

Mission Accomplished.

In Binalong Bay I came accross Dora Point. Campsites and Public Toilets.
Too my surprise not fully occupied.
Everywhere else up and down the East Coast was pretty much full.

So anywho. On the road again.
Scammander WOW what beautifull scenery. Then too Bicheno, once again Beautifull. Onto Swansee and then Orford Fuelled up for the 60 or so K,s home.

Had a Ball.

Gadgets,

You are a luck man to be living in Tasmania! A few years back I spent a couple of weeks hiking around the coastline of Tasmania and I found that not only was the terrain amazing but the people were very friendly too. :victory:

One of the places, I enjoyed was Wineglass Bay it’s just south of Bicheno. During my stay there I hiked to the southern most end of Freychinet National Park and camped out in a small cabin. If you guys have time and haven’t already been there, I would recommend checking it out!

Enjoy……

Yes

The widlife is amazing.
I would have stopped and taken a photo of a Wombat but he was there and gone in no time flat. Also Tasmanian Devils, Possums and the all too annoying Sea Gulls. :)

Cheers
