Since we don't have our own section like the cruiser guys I'm gonna steal this idea and use it here. (Maybe other truck styles will too...):costumed-smiley-007<br />

3. Had it about a year. Currently own 2 4th gens and a GX470
4. I like the 4th gen because of the power and constant 4wd paired with the smallish size
5. Bought it at 98k and it is currently sitting dead due to electrical issues at 105k
6. Favorite mod is the whole rig
7. The capability and room of the vehicle even in stock form
8. Currently vehicle is dead in the water due to electrical issues

3. 2 1/2 years, this is my 5th Toyota, 1st 4R.
4. Bought the 4runner to keep the miles down on my Tacoma and for the bigger interior.
5. Bought at 91k and currently has 148k.
6. Favorite mod would be the tires. It has 255 Coopers now.
7. One of the last body on frame suvs, good out of the box.
8. It is a dd, camping, road trip toy.

• First 4Runner that I've owned since 2006

4. What made you decide to buy a 4rd Gen over what other options you might have been considering

• I really like the look of the 4th gens...and it came with a V8!

5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage

• Bought it brand new and it has 103k now.

6. Your favorite mods

• More like my least favorite mod - Went from stock > K&N CAI > to stock. When I went back to the stock intake, the 4runner drove so much smoother. Not a fan of the K&N intake. Favorite mod so far is probably my Gobi roof rack.

7. What do you love most about being a 4rd Gen owner

• Having a V8.

• Weekend toy, glamping trips, expedition travel

3. How long have you owned your 4rd Gen? Picked it up in March for a great price. I own an '87 and a '10. Im somewhat addicted, so i have to be honest- Ive owned many, mostly all 1st gen runners or more specifically the mid 80's 22re'd rigs, and a couple 90's tacos, and a Crewmax Tundra. Toyotas rule!! I like to buy them in bad shape, fix them up (rebuild the 22re) and sell them to someone that will use them.

4. What made you decide to buy a 4rd Gen over what other options you might have been considering...V8 and V8 and V8 and V8

5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage...up there! 203K and now its only at 208K

6. Your favorite mods...added an AFe CAI and it woke it up a little, but my favorite mod so far is the Weathertech floor liners- less mess

7. What do you love most about being a 4rd Gen owner...V8 and heated seats!!!

8. How your 4th Gen is used: right now I'm not quite positive. Its driven daily and we are definitely going to use it a ton off-road. Been cruising around on the fire roads a fair amount, but the tires suck and are a liability too far off the beaten path or in rough terrain.

3. How long have you owned your 4rd Gen? I have owned it since late October 2008. How many have you owned? I had always wanted a 4Runner, this was my first one. I also own a 2014 Trail Edition and I wouldn't mind picking up a nice 3rd gen as well.

4. What made you decide to buy a 4rd Gen over what other options you might have been considering... Toyota reliability. I was a GM guy before this but their quality was terrible. We also needed a 4x4 SUV.

5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage... Bought it with 8k, now at 152K.

6. Your favorite mods... Lift, tires, sunroof rattle delete, Pioneer touchscreen with backup camera.

7. What do you love most about being a 4rd Gen owner... It's comfortable yet very capable.

8. How your 4th Gen is used; is it a DD, weekend Toy, family adventure, overland travel, etc... It gets used for everything. DD, towing rig, overland, you name it.

My uncle was selling it for cheap since he got the new GX, did not consider other cars​

120k miles at purchase, 130k miles now.​

STOCK, I know, looking for a EMU 2.5'' lift, and maybe tires and bull bar in the future​

Reliability and off-road capability, oh and comfort​

My mom is using it as a daily, but mostly under 15 miles a day. Then I use it for some random weekend trail running. Planning on overland build it someday with more savings​

4. What made you decide to buy a 4th Gen over what other options you might have been considering? mix of reliability, capability, and fuel mileage is ideal for remote trips
5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage? 130,000 miles when purchased, 160,000 miles now
6. Your favorite mods? Skid plates, sliders, extended travel rear shocks, and BFG ATs
7. What do you love most about being a 4th Gen owner? It's a sleeper...folks are always surprised by its capability when they see it out on the trail

3. How long have you owned your 4th Gen? How many have you owned? Owned since late 2007. Toyota pays my bills, so it was my 5th Toyota (2nd 4th gen), and I have watched a few dozen Toyota's come and go since but it is the only one I bought.
4. What made you decide to buy a 4th Gen over what other options you might have been considering? Comfort, balance, size, capabilities
5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage? Only owner, 85k miles now
6. Your favorite mods? Three way tie- Fridge, Total Chaos LT, and 4x4Labs Rear Bumper
7. What do you love most about being a 4th Gen owner? It is truly a do everything truck; capable but comfortable.
8. How your 4th Gen is used; is it a DD, weekend Toy, family adventure, overland travel, etc? Overland travel, and camping. It feels neglected sometimes

4. What made you decide to buy a 4th Gen over what other options you might have been considering? I honestly wanted a 80 series to replace our 60 but the wife wanted this.
5. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage? About 140K now I have no idea.
6. Your favorite mods? LED Map and dome lights
7. What do you love most about being a 4th Gen owner? It can make it to work.
8. How your 4th Gen is used; is it a DD, weekend Toy, family adventure, overland travel, etc? Its a DD that is 108mi one way to work and a weekend milk runner.
She still needs a lot of work but here she is.

4. What made you decide to buy a 4th Gen over what other options you might have been considering... Way more powerful, roomy and comfortable than my old Taco.

6. Your favorite mods... Insain Fab rear swingout bumper and ARB awning!
7. What do you love most about being a 4th Gen owner... Gets me to insanely beautiful, remote places in comfort and style
