ExPo Albums by User - Check it

Whoa! Cool new feature to the site. We can create photo albums through our user control panels or profiles.

On your profile page on the right side column under the friends list there's an option for albums.

Sweet-er-ree-doo! I tested it out with a few:
www.expeditionportal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=48

It'll be a little sweeter if (when!) you can browse thumbnails. Right now, each image just has a text link.

Try it out brother (and sister) photographers.

Cool option, I just dont think it will get too much use till you can see the thumbnails

Being as its in the photography section, I'm thinking most browsing this thread are visual type people and most arent going to sit clicking on links blindly...know what I mean

I'm a member on another forum that had an Album feature like this, and until they added the thumbnail option, no one used it. Once they added it, the members practically crashed the server they loaded so many photos on there creating albums from past travels

As for you other bozos: I still like these personal galleries. I bet if we blame the lack of thumbnails on Jeremy, he might get it fixed up right. Hmm?

As far as the link to thumbnail transition, I think it would be better. Although it would add to the creepiness of the whole social network "profile" thing. Whatever. I like pictures.
