I finally got to meet Mario, what a nice guy.
elcoyote also had a nice display today...

He also had this new tent that I'd not seen before from mywaytents: http://www.mywaytents.co.za/

Comparable to the Eazi-Awn IMHO.

Mario was cool enough to let my 6 year old and his buddy test the tent out at the Expo this weekend! It stood up to the two of them just fine! As always, the dispays looked great!

Very cool  I really like the paint jobs. Nice!

That is also the first time I have seen the awning mounted on the Maggiolina.

Mario,
You know, that gray one with the Maggiolina matches my Cherokee perfectly. If you want to ship it to me to keep for a decade or so, I'd be happy to write a comprehensive article on the functionality and performance of the Chaser, and post it to my blog - which is read by some guy in Virginia. If you're interested, feel free to send me a PM. ;)

Bummer is that it matches my Comanche perfectly too but we have already commited the trailer as a donation to the California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs as a prize for their fund rasier raffle where the funds go towards off road education. Two bucks gets you a ticket, only need one to win!

Chris, it's the first time we have mounted an awning to the Airland tent and it turned out great. We're planning to do it again but with awnings on both sides. It gives really nice coverage to the tent openings. Pix will be posted in our upcoming website revision.

The show was a kick. Lots of people from Expo came by. It's fun to match the web aliases with the faces. We had a lip smacking dinner at Pinnacle Peak House 'o Meat with the gang.

See ya out on the trail!

Mario....happen to have a buildup thread on your MJ? I'm considering one as a replacement for my XJ if i dont go with an LJ.

I don't have a thread on it. I bought my MJ new off the lot in 1992. It was the "Eliminator" package. I drove it 23 miles home and started modifying it. Right now it has over 300k+ miles on it and has been through numerous mods & revisions. Here's the current state of affairs as I can recall:

RE Extreme 6" lift front (hate this, very noisy)
BFG M/Ts 33x10.50x15 on factory rims
Custom spring over rear suspension
High pinion Dana 30 in front with 4.56 & ARB
Dana 44 in rear with 4.56 and Detroit locker (killed two 35's & three ARBs)
6" drop Pitman arm
Currie drag link
TJ bell housing with external slave cylinder mated to original AX-15 5 speed (lost count of # of failed factory slaves in original housing)
RE sway disco (hate this too)
Autorotor twin screw super charger with intercooler
Custom fiberglass hood
Split Second programable MAP sensor
50% larger injectors
Folley header (cracked 2 Borlas & 1 factory before this)
Flowmaster muffler
Safari Snorkel
K&N air filter
Warn 6000 with Winchline synthetic rope (need to upgrade to 9000)
Modified Warn winch mount
Custom All J rear bumper with integrated class III hitch
Custom made false bed
Snugtop shell with side doors & rear glass hatch
Four Hella 500s mounted on Conferr rack
Fiamma F35 awning mounted to rack
Electrical mods too numerous to name...

If you're seriously considering doing up an MJ and you need a sounding board, I am happy to share my experiences. My Baja Burro, as I call it, has been a trusty companion. Never has it left me stranded. Here's a recent pic.

Very nice!
That trailer REALLY goes with your Jeep! I need to buy a ticket, and if I win, I will give you that one back and trade it for a white one.

More off topic...what brand of awning is that?

Buy some tickets for the CA4WDC cause my friend. We've gotta support the org that works so hard for us. Only takes 2 bucks to win!

The awning is Fiamma brand, the same that we mount on our trailers.

Great looking :tent: Mario!

Those Chasers' trailers are somthing else!!! What a great project. Your can holders are pretty hard core too.

I can't wait to see what you come up with next :D
