expo xj on a budget

I used to have a '95 XJ with the 5-spd (AX-15) transmission, which wasn't the smoothest-shifting transmission. Best gear oil I ever had in it (best shifts) was Redline MTL -- and I tried a lot of different oils.

Sorry for the delay life has been slapping us around quite a bit lately. So far everything is working well I have driven around 3k miles since the overhaul and no real issues. I have it out at my fab shop for a final push on the rear bumper, tube fenders, skids and a paint job.

While using it at the ranch for a work truck we have found a couple of weak points. First the axle side rear ujoint decided to give up and shattered the caps. Easily fixed and we were back in action just in time for the front shaft to develop a fairly severe vibration. I found out the double Cardin joint at the transfer case is a bit worn around the centering ball and cup. But I have got a good start on the rear bumper.
