Extending Cab over on grandby

@GoinBoardin any idea what length and size screws you used to connect the 3/4" poplar into the frame?

1" #8 self tapping screws?

@BajaSurfRig I can't say I recall for sure. Maybe 1.25" long #10 or #12? I know I predrilled and countersunk them. I also bonded the wood to the camper interior. It's still very solid.

@GoinBoardin what did you bond the wood to the camper interior with?

I am planning on extending my bed this weekend.

Some form of polyurethane construction adhesive from home depot, nothing too fancy. My interior panels are just a plastic sheet type material, seems to hold fast.

@GoinBoardin is there a trick to finding the interior vertical framing members?

From what I can tell the front two verticals line up with the windows so those should be easy.

It looks like the passenger side vertical above the window isn't as easy to locate?

Do you have the dimensions to the second framing member you screwed into from the front of the camper.

I am trying to avoid drilling pilot holes into the camper walls until I find the framing member.
