Yeah, that Bestop is ultra convenient. I would like to splice a On/Off switch to automatically trigger when I'm in 4WD. Because if I'm out on the trail, I may not want that to lower when I open the door. What happens if I get stuck or hung up on something. I wouldn't want that powered running board lowering and getting damaged by an obstruction. But for daily driving on pavement, I would typically be in 2WD and then I would always want that on.
