She has been sold!
Well, it is with much sadness that I have decided to sell my FWC Eagle.

I purchased the camper in 2008 used. It is a 2006 Eagle.
So far I have done the following:
Added a 125 watt BP Solar panel with a Blue Sky MPPT Controller and remote controller.
Added two 80 Amp hour batteries.
New battery separator.
Modified 12000 BTU Forced air heater. I added a divider to separate the return air from the supply air and added a supply grill that is adjustable and replaced the control board.
Massive changes to interior: Removed fold and tumble couch and built under seat storage with dinette. Dinette table laminate matches counter top.
New custom counter tops.
SMEV stove in new position
SMEV sink with electric water pump.
ISOTHERM CR-65 with ASU. $1000.00 refrigerator. Best I have ever seen and I have seen them all. Fourth refrigerator installed in camper.
Max Fan thermostatically controlled roof vent.
Custom cabinets.
Bed foam was changed to 2.8 density foam. Made a big difference.
Camping Labs awning with solid and screened enclosure.
Underside is insulated.
Custom High lift mount, but High Lift is not included.
Custom Pulaski mount.
Custom 50 lbs lifting struts
Custom Arctic wall insulation.
Motion detector rear light. Added patio light
It carries 17 (12 + 5) gallons of water, 10 (5+5) gallons of gas and 10 gallons of propane.
Collapsable aluminum step ladder.
It has four lift jacks and it comes with a rolling platform that I built to store the camper on with storage below.
I am sure there is much more that I have forgot.

I have over $20000.00 invested into this camper, so it has to go to a good home.

I am selling the camper because I have built a trailer and there is just not enough room in my shop for both.
She lives inside my shop on a dolly, so you can come anytime to come look at it.
I am accepting offers right now, but according to rules of the forum, let's say something around $14000.00

I've seen this FWC many times and it is perhaps the nicest one I've seen. Hard to believe you're selling it. Good luck with the sale.

(Can't wait to see the trailer!)

Good luck with the sale. Sorry to see it going. This was the unit that got the wife and I going to a FWC for our needs.

Funny, we moved from a trailer to a FWC and you're going from a FWC to a trailer. Weird...

This is one of my favorite FWCs. Jeff does very nice work and when you see this thing in person it's obvious there's a lot of heart and soul in the mods. Someone's gonna get a "better than new" camper.

Thank you all for the very nice compliments.
The only real reason for selling the camper and building the trailer is to try and make the wife more comfortable. When we went up to Funnel Lake with Dave and Jody and their friends, she had the time of her life. She has bad disks in her neck, so climbing up into the over cab bed was a challenge. The trailer was designed with her in mind and her input and ideas. I must say, I am happy with the way it is turning out. But once again, I am getting carried away.
After four kids, we are almost empty nesters, and I want to do everything I can to enjoy the rest of our lives together. It is amazing how having a heart attack changes your outlook on life.
To answer the question from "Red Dawn", the containers are ROTOPAX and the holder I designed and made.
Yes, the camper will be missed. I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate the work I have into it.

Very nice! I don't see any external tie downs, are you using the tie downs that attach to the bolts that secure the bed to the frame? What modifications have you made to your Tacoma's suspension? What would you estimate the camper's weight at?

You are correct, the tie downs are internal and go to the bed. There insulated access panels on the inside.
As far as the suspension goes,I am a big fan of air bags because I use my truck with the camper on and off. I noticed a big difference when I removed the Bilstein shocks and changed to IVD external reservoir shocks.

Jeff
I am sorry, I never weighed the truck with the camper on. I never felt the need

Ok, I had a lot of really nice people ask some very good questions and ask for more pictures but no real offers.
I think I may have freaked everyone out starting at $14,000. Let's see what happens when the price drops to $13,000.
I really want this to go to a good home, so I don't want to put it on Craig's list. If you live in a nice place and it's not too far, I will consider delivering the camper for the cost of gas out and back.

Well...two buyers have backed out after liking the camper and saying they wanted to buy it, so it is a bump back to the top.
