Looks good. I've been keeping my eye out for a cheap one to use as a bush truck. Small lift, cut until 40's clear, and off I go!

Rockers have some surface rust and 37's are sandblasting the rear corners. I'm thinking I may Raptor line the the bottom 12 or so inches down. Anyone had any experience with this stuff?

It's quality stuff, provided you like the available colors.

If you want a better selection of colors (or even color matched), go Monstaliner.

Adventure cage got first coat of primer. Hope to have this thing on the truck tomorrow

Layed the interior black coat on. Time constraints force Using some pretty ghetto Tractor Supply paint sprayed through a $15 HF gun. Coming out oddly good. Downside of this stuff is how painfully slow it dries.

Should have used hardener.

Speeds the dry time, hold sheen better, and resists chemicals much better.
Without hardener, the paint will also have a tendency to lift if you re-coat, as the solvents in the new paint will interact with the cured paint.

Alkyd enamels are a fantastic way to go, but to do it right you really need hardener.
I add hardener, then if it further thinning is needed, add Naptha.

Next time...

I struggle with guys like you, what would make you think I DID NOT use hardener? Seriously, why does every guy on the internet need to prove he's smarter than the next guy? Here's a better response: Did you use a hardener?, A 16:1 mix ratio of a matched hardener will help it dry faster and increase gloss. That's a legitimate question and even offered a mix ratio suggestion. Give it a go man, you'll find your input is much more valued.

Relax. Sorry if I actually read what you wrote.

Your statement that it dries "painfully slow" is enough for somebody that knows this stuff to make the assumption.

If you use hardener, its dry to the touch in minutes. Without it, yes, painfully slow.

The Track Supply stuff wants a bunch more time, even with hardener. Directions ask for 24 hours between coats (Who does that?)! Today’s painting took 9 hours before I could handle it (May be time to find a new brand!)
