Farewell truck camper!

Just wanted to say thanks to this forum - lots of good stories, ideas, and answers here. We sold our Northstar and I traded my 3/4 ton F250 for a new diesel Colorado. As much as we loved the truck camper, family camping in the northeast rarely involves driving to one place and staying put. The trail heads, sites, and beaches usually require a short drive, so we'll be looking for a lightweight trailer setup next year.

Selfish plug: I posted a bunch of leftover parts in the parts for sale forum, here. If anyone in New England needs tie-downs, turnbuckles, or a cart/dolly, let's talk...

Happy [truck] camping!

This story just keeps repeating. Good camping

It does! Just comes down to so many factors, and what seems great in the research phase, doesn't always pan out. I will say, I got awfully good at putting the camper on/off the truck. By the end of this past summer, I could have it off in 10' and back on in another 20'! Of course, that didn't make parking a 3/4 ton truck in tiny New England village centers any easier!
