No updates yet, I have been working on my trailer build and he has been working on other projects. Has anyone ever had experience with cutting an access from the cab to the rear of the box?

UPDATE, we have both decided that it will be really tough not having a walk through/cut through to the back of the ambulance for comfort reasons on long trips. Has anyone on here ever done anything like that?

My thoughts are to build an attic type thing about the cab, and once that is done cut the box and cab for the cut through. Is this doable, does any company make a kit for this at all?

Thanks for any thoughts or ideas. We don't want to get rid of it because it's 4x4

So what happened, are you still working on it, or finish it it?
My Dad decided against it so I am going to get it running since it has been sitting. Just needs a battery and carb clean, and then put all the stuff in the rear that we had planned on putting in it. I will be listing it soon for sale.

I sure hate to hear that but I understand, the ambulance conversion thing is not for everybody. Who ever buys it will get a nice package, almost like a kit. All they will have to do is put it together.

Are you going to build up another type of vehicle instead?

Good luck with the sale when you get it ready! :)
