FE/FG 4x4 crew??

That's a nice size. A very manageable vehicle compared to most towed trailers. For a family I woud choose that setup over trying to fit four in an FG. The Toyota provides a good international vehicle and is considerably more comfortable than the FG.

Escape trailers of Chilliwack, BC make the Escape 5.0. I think the main body is about 15'8''. I'll guess this design is much like the Scamp. - Still long for a FG

I would be leary of putting a large (12-14') truck camper onto an FE chassis. It will take the weight no problem, but it may look and feel like a fat kid on a marshmellow. The Europeans have the style and design down to a science. I have seen too many people bolt a camper onto a truck, throw some tool boxes on and take off and it looks like it was built by an 7 year old playing with blocks. Maybe some dont care about aesthetics of their rig, but that is a big project to take on and have it look like crap when you are done.

Hey now! Mine handles like a dream, but the FE has big fat sway bars which helps a lot.
