I thought I'd start a fun little piece featuring a different builder each month. This month - Todd Ingermanson's Black Cat Bicycles from Santa Cruz County, California. Todd is a visionary, an artist, a craftsman, and I'd guess one helluva soul rider as his bikes just bleed coolness. There's technical perfection in everything he does, but it's encapsulated in elegant shapes and finishes that really do speak to riders looking for something unique.

Todd's Swinger dropouts have been copied by several builders. Beautifully simple.

Customers give Todd a basic two-color idea of what they want their bike to have and he does the rest of the design work. His graphic finishes are stunning. And the curves of those stays? Wow.

Bikepacking bikes have never looked this good. Love the custom racks. Again, wow.
Check out Todd's site. There are so many beautiful bikes on there.
