Feed back on Rhino liner

I would like to get rid of the interior carpet in my JK Unl and have been considering Rhino Liner, my intent is to spray the entire tub.Anybody have expeience having this done?. I have a quote and it is $550 so alternatives would be helpful as well, I have looked at several DIY brush on products but I am concerned about fininsh and thickness...thanks Pete

linex is a better product less peeling, more consistent finish. better looking product, similarly priced to rhino.

don't have any experience with the do it yourself stuff. heard good things about "Al's liner" though.

for interior, the less they have to remove and the cleaner it is the less expensive it will be.

Honestly $550 is pretty cheap considering what's involved. I would just let the pro's do it.

Line-X quote was $800..gulp
Both quotes were after I sripped the interior. It just seems steep when compared to an 8' pickup bed, that was $375..My wifes wants the spray in not DIY of course she wanted the Wild Boar top and now AEV wheels! I am not complaining mind you..never herd of "Als-liner"

Give me a few more weekends and I'll tell you about the rustoleum brand DIY liner available at walmart, it's not going into an interior however, just a truck bed.:costumed-smiley-007

I'd personally pass on Rhino Liner. Much better products out there as stated above, Line X for one. Rhino Liner doesn't hold up as well as some of the others and the color tends to fade. I had something lined gray and it turned green!

I will research Al's Liner & Raptor
I have looked at Herculiner & Dura liner both are brush on application
I would prefer a spray on application
Lizard Skin appears to be more for thermal & acoustic protection, it might be to soft for high traffic areas, also it would cost about $450 to apply the first time, the spray gun is abput $150
I live about 100 miles from Rhino or Line-x dealers so finding an application the will yield quality results that I can do in my own shop would be great

For professional, I'd go with Line-X over Rhino.

This summer I had a chance to check out the Raptor product and was much more impressed with it than I have been with any other DIY product. I don't have any long term use results from it, so would be interested in experience from others. I still feel I'd go Line-X for hard use - like the pickup bed of a work truck. But would feel fairly confident using Raptor where you weren't planning to regularly throw cinder blocks or such on it.

I use EZ liner from Canadian tire, its similar to your Rustoleum or whatever brand. Although I havent done any long trips in it yet but I think what I'll be doing is just throwing some carpet over top of that during those trips.

without a doubt, if i were paying to have it done i'd go with linex over rhino. i have linex in my truck bed, friends have rhino and they are surely jealous of my linex. it is more consistent and more professional looking.

I have had them do numerous beds of trucks and I have an M416 trailer they did the innner box in black and the outer in White and the finish is great, and is tough as nails.

Sometimes to pay for what you get. This is one of those times.

If I may ask what was the cost to have Line-X spray your M416 trailer.
It is intersting to hear not many if any are in favor of Rhino Liner
