This is a feeler thread. I am not 100% sure I want to get rid of this truck. I love it, bought from the original owner(old lady) garage kept and its a great truck but 100 series landcruisers always catch my eye. Every mod has been done within the last year.

2003 tacoma double cab sr5 trd Clean clear title in hand.
165k on body 90k on motor. Toyota replaced EVERYTHING under the hood at 66k miles. The lady said she was driving to Walmart and the truck made a weird noise so she pulled over and had it towed to dealer. I think dealer screwed her over but either way $6500 later they installed a new motor.

Good shape couple dings but nothing huge or unordinary for the year. Runs awesome tranny and motor run around 190-200 degrees no matter how long you drive it. Consistent 17-20 mpg. All around awesome vehicle and like I said I still don't know if I can get rid of it but if a nice 100 series comes along I may.
3.4 V6 auto(all 1st gen dcabs are auto) 4x4 with j-shifter factory e-locker
Mods include 255/85 km2's, custom rear bumper, custom sliders, softopper, SAW coil overs, Dakar leafs, OME nitrocharger sport shocks, rare factory roof rack, grey wire mod

Trades: 100 series, maybe 4th gen 4runner, 80 series/lx450 plus decent amt of cash, jeep rubicon(Lj preffered)
Mods are a plus, obviously the lower miles the better only looking to trade at this time. Don't really have the time to sale and car shop at the moment. It is going to take a nice vehicle to get me out of this truck.

You guys should meet half way in Kansas City.

I went from a Taco DC to a 100. 100's SUPER comfortable compared to the Taco. But missed having a truck, so bought another Tacoma. Having both is great.

Well after a wheeling trip on Saturday I really got to thinking about why exactly I wanted to get rid of this rig and in all honesty I couldn't really come up with a reason. So in light of that I'm going to keep the Tacoma.

In the title and first post you can read that he was looking for a trade offer.

Haddix,

Congrats on deciding to keep the truck, it seems like a well built truck that suits your needs

I've got the same year, same color, only it's a Pre-runner and not a 4 x 4. 4 cyl also, so no electric locker. When I've saved enough, I'll buy the ARB air locker. I've been searching for a soft top like yours. Any chance you have a link you could share? I can't find one for our year with the 5' bed.

Thanks in advance.
