I have a 2012 Livin lite all aluminum camper trailer that is 13 feet long and has custom 3500lbs off road axle and 15" wheels. The Trailer has many upgrades like solar battery charge system, Forced air heating, footpump operated sink, non skid industrial flooring, sway control system and a 4" lift. It weighs just about 2,400lbs. This trailer has been great and we love it but my two girls are getting to the age were bunk beds are no longer cool and they want their own RTT. We are thinking of going to a teardrop or expo trailer with an RTT. If you have a growing family and need more room and comfort, this thing is great. We have always camped in off the grid forest service and BLM type spots and we have been able to get this camper to places that people cant believe

Because it is all aluminum and built with industrial grade hardware it is tough and lite and works great as an off road basecamp. I would be most interested in a trade for some kind of smaller trailer that has both heat and a sink

Are you crazy? LoL

When they hit teens you’ll want them in ground tents away from the general camp area anyway. Keep the bunk rig a little longer and add two ground tents to the kit. Let them set up the tents, but dont be surprised if they want to sleep in the bunks.

These worked great with a friends set of twins. He got about 3 yrs out of them then the girls wanted to actually sleep in their own tents , set up pick their own spot etc. Which case he picked up two backpacking tents. He and his wife crash in the trailer. Kids crash in the trailer when the weather gets bad.

Haha, you are total right about them wanting to get back into the trailer after 'trying' the tents. They think they want to leave the nest, but probably will miss it once its gone.

They are such awesome campers, its like being in an ambulance or a space ship in there. I guess livinlite got bought by someone and they no longer have that minimalist expo feel to them.

What would be your sale price? Or are you only interested in trade?

sorry, but right now I am only looking to do a trade. It still works great for us, we just got done with a 5 day touring Colorado Nevada AZ and UT. So i don't want to be stuck without a trailer, just want something smaller

Unfortunately I'm not looking for a trade, but I am looking at selling my SoCal 459 Krawler.

Hope you can find what you're looking for though.
