Fender Trim

After the cutting on my fenders to accommodate bigger tires, I'm left with some sharp edges. I cut my forearm the other day and I'd like to cover up the edges. A while ago I find a website that sells flexible trim that sticks on. I think it was being marketed for an FJ-80 but I don't see why it wouldn't work on any vehicle. Unfortunately I forgot to bookmark it and I can't find it anywhere.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm open to any suggestions. I just want an easy way to cover the sharp edges.

might just want to look into some dooredge trim that they sell at advanced auto or autozone.

x2 on door edge guard, available at jsut about any parts store. It's commonly found in black or cheap chrome versions.

I would steer away from the black autozone door trim. It looked ok for a month or two.......Its a cheap plastic that expands and contracts way too much with tempature changes. On a cold day it would pull off the wheel arch in spots because it got too tight (hope that makes sense) and on hot days the glue got gummy and the trim fell off. Tried two different rolls of the stuff, not happy with the results.

I had a friend that got it by the foot at a local body shop, never had any problems with it (want to say it was made by PPG), just stuck it on, it looked great and it stayed in place!

Good to know.

I found this at JC Whitney http://www.jcwhitney.com/wheel-well-moulding-20/p2008788.jcwx?filterid=c13113j1 Looks interesting.

No offense to anyone that has them, but I despise bushwackers. I would never put them on my vehicle.

I've never had an issue using the door trim stuff on trimmed fenders... for me it was cheap and worked well..
