I believe 10psi is standard boost for this model.You get that much boost out of yours?
If i was on vacation i probably wouldnt worry either :lol: but im trying to set land speed records up hill with a load on

I believe it should hit 15-16psi then the pop off valve on the intake manifold will open.Seems like you should have more boost than that. Is your wastegate operating correctly? Are you getting adequate air thru the air filter? I haven't put a boost gauge on mine.
Not as yet, it is on the list just need enough down time to do it. Only 130k km's on the engine it 'shouldnt' be an issue but is obviously possible.Just wondering... have you done a compression test on the engine?
Thats where im at right now, have done just that.I would take the waste gate right off and wire it shut to rule it out, also I would take the turbo outlet hose off and make sure the turbo spins freely, and no damage to the compressor wheel.
Thanks gait, I guess that part is working fine thenHope this bit helps .... I've never noticed mine do anything else. Managed electronically I suspect. If battery has good volts it usually starts within a second or two and just runs. I've only seen glow plug light on once in 100,000 km, I think -10 centigrade.
