We brought our FG649 dual cab with 76000km on the clock , before we picked it up they fitted ATW srw, tinted the windows and derated it to 4495kg.
The aim of our truck is a family camper to carry all our stuff in.
We tried to use second and recycled bits in our build.
We had ATW parabolics spring set and shocks fitted, and thank very much for the tour of ATW John(whatcharterboat).

Here is a few pics for starters.

So Pete, are you planning on sleeping in the back at all, or is that space solely for storage of all of your stuff?

Yes we have made a queen bed that is runs length ways which you can see the plywood in one of the photos starting in the right hand corner,it lifts up in 2 parts with storage boxes underneath all stuff like extra towels, sheets, spare parts, clothing, fishing rods.
The 2 boys either sleep in the cab or in thier sways with or without a tent, but if need be we can make room in the back for all of us.

We just finished our trip of 7500kms Ipswich to Cape York return via Longreach (Kel wanted a lamb pie from merino bakery).
There was 17 in our group,7 on bikes 4 of us in the Canter,3 in a Patrol and 3 in the Rodeo.
We all meet at Fishery Falls south of Cairns.
Day 1 was Fishery Falls to the great Lions Den Hotel via the Cape Trib Road where they drowned one bike> Half a hour later it was going again.
Day 2 Lions Den to Wakooka juction which was a long day. One flat front bike tyre fixed on the side of the road, blew the tyre up with those Co2 little bottle and a head gasket both on the KTM. So the boys we called the bikies loades it on the trailer we where towing with all the bikies gear.
The road was bloody rough.
Day 3 Wakooka to Cape Melville which is only 42k's which took us over 3.5 hours very rough track with lots of trees to go around and at approx 10.5m long was a bit tight at times. We had to bump the trailer once around a tree and a washout but we made it ok.
Got the bike off the trailer drained the coolant out of it into a coke bottle and flushed the coolant system and filled with sum Seal Up. Head gasket fixed.
Day 4 Cape Melville to Archer River Roadhouse. With the KTM running fine the bikes all fueled up they where off and the rest of us followed. The return trip was much quicker cos the trailer was lighter now no bike ,less fuel, less food and no rum on it now.Meet the bikes on the way for a spot of fishing.NO LUCK.
Then we all went to Kalpower Crossing was was very easy, drove though Lakefield Nat Park stopped at Musgrave Roadhouse for fuel.
Off to Archer River roadhouse great burger.
Day 5 Archer River Roadhouse to Bramwell Station. Which was a very easy day .A few of us went to the Wenlock River crossing on the Lockhart River road for sum fishing and lunch still no fish.
Got to Bramwell Station for State of Origin game 2 , great night had bbq and a few drinks with about 80 people watching the great game.

We went and had a look at Palm Creek well it was muddy entry and exit .While we where there a Jeep was winching out and a locked front and rear Patrol was well and truly stuck getting ready to winch out.
So at about 5500kgs 10.5m long we did a 28k bypass around it while the bikes went though with a few troubles.

Go Andy

Us vehicle people stopped at Dulhunty River for at swim which was so refreshing after the dusty track.
Not long after that we broke the left hand side mirror i dont think too many wider trucks go down the Tele Track.
