As part of our ever growing accessory online store www.expeditionupfitter.com we are considering going back to our roots offering unique solutions for craftsman building their campers, trailers,caravans etc from scratch. One of the most requested components are our in house designed and manufactured thermal transfer free fiberglass pultrusions.
The time has come to consider offering them to the public as a stand alone item!

We are going ahead and will be offering our FRP pultrusions for 50mm/2" panels!

Our FRP profiles (fibre-reinforced plastic profiles) offer a number of advantages that make them particularly attractive for various industrial and commercial applications. At Total Composites we have been using GRP Pultrusions since 2016 with great success. Here are some of the most significant advantages:

High strength and durability:
FRP profiles are known for their high tensile, bending and impact strength, making them a robust choice for any type of Truck Bodies, portable housing, insulated enclosures, cold storage rooms etc. The possibilities are almost endless!


Corrosion resistance:
These profiles are resistant to many chemicals, corrosive environments and outside use


Low weight:
FRP profiles are much lighter than comparable metal structures, such as steel or aluminium, making them easier to handle, transport and install.


Good insulating properties:
FRP provides natural insulation against heat, cold and electricity, making it useful for electrical and thermal applications.


Weather resistance:
Total Composites FRP profiles are made with a high GelCoat content and therefore UV and weather protected, making them ideal for camper construction and other outdoor applications where durability is required under extreme weather conditions.


Low maintenance:
They require less maintenance than metal structures because they do not rust or rot and do not need to be painted or sealed regularly.



How to purchase:

Shipping and cutting service:
- Minimum order is 19’ (full length inventory item). To make shipping more manageable we are offering a cutting service to +/- 1” tolerance
- Cutting Service fees: (within 1” tolerance). Only straight cuts. $85 flat rate (max. 15 cuts) any additional cut is calculated at $6 per cut.

-Shipping/freight to be individually calculated. All items are in stock in Canada and shipped from Victoria BC.

Good question!
At this point we only have them available in Stainless steel. Shipping them internationally would be subject of additional import duties into the USA. Therefore we are currently working on a new type made of FRP. In other words, long term, we will have corners available, short term-no.
