Fiberglass or Aluminium

I have built two campers over the last few years. The one was a fibreglass box on a pickup and the other was a full replacement of the pickup box with a aluminium frame and aluminium sheeting on the outside.

Both campers were insulated with 25mm polystyrene.

Both campers had their cabs opened up to be able to move from the cab to the rear of the camper.

My question to the forum is:
1) What are the thoughts of Fiberglass vs Aluminium?

Aluminum. Always. Only because it’s a lot more pleasant to work with, and looks better usually.

Seems like you should be able to answer this as well as anyone!

As a skin fiberglass is better IMO, because it is lower density so you can make it thicker. Makes is stiffer and harder to dent (or crack).
