I purchased this van in Jan 2019 from the original owner in Round Rock, TX. Our intentions were to have it for when transporting my father-in-law became too difficult in our other vehicles and then when his state of health transitioned to the next phase we would convert it to full blown camper status. Short answer is my wife doesn't like using it at all. She only drove it one time and the whole loading/unloading was too much for her. So the van has sat in our driveway since January and now it is time to let it go to someone who wants to make it their own.

As the title states it is a 1997 E-350 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel and was converted when new by Texas Stagecoaches. It is a raised roof with a 6 inch lowered floor. One of the concerns when lowering the floor is the gas tank exposure to damage. During the conversion a 3/16" skid plate was installed and had protected the tank. Also during the conversion an Amsoil Dual Remote Bypass System was installed. The mileage officially is unknown but my guess is below 175k. The odometer stopped working a week or so before the received their new handicap van. I drove it from the Austin area to the Fort Worth area and we have made a few "test runs" with it in town. Current odometer reading is 165k.

This van is clean from a mechanical aspect but the interior is tired and very dated with the exception of the radio head unit which is an Alpine Dual DIN. The biggest drawback to the exterior is the clearcoat peeling from the raised roof. Yes, the CRT television and AM/FM/Cassette is still there. The rear seat does fold down to a bed. I replaced the drivers side window regulator and removed the "Velvet Elvis" material used to cover the door panel. The carpet attached to the engine cover was falling off so I completed removed it also. I still have the cupholder/glovebox for the engine cover but the latch for the glovebox had failed and it stayed open so I left it off for the time being.

It is the 3rd 7.3 that I have owned (1997 F-250 and 2000 Excursion) and it is by far the quietest. It has 3.55 rear gears and just purrs going down the road.

The Braun wheel chair lift is fully functional and works well but can be removed easily if you are not interested in it. Keep in mind the side doors are not manual but are controlled remotely.

It is fully registered and I have the title in my hand.

I am really looking to sell outright but the right trade would be considered. Top of the list would be an OBS F-350 crew cab diesel but if you had a Tacoma Crew Cab Long Bed we could have a conversation at least.

The best way to contact me with questions or additional pictures is via text at 907/433-9887.

Thanks,
Troy
