Thanks folks. Trail Outfitters, thanks for the offer, I will keep you in mind once I jump in to that.

I installed the new alternator and battery today and she cranked right up. Ran great but had a little top end noise so I opened the oil cap to check it out. No oil there. Checked the dipstick and no oil there either. So shut it down and will be putting some oil in it tomorrow.

Can you post a pic on how the rear heater controls are integrated into the console?

Hey if you look at the backseat picture I previously posted I think you can see that they arnt. Not sure whats up with that but I dont have the original console, so I dont know how it is supposed to be.

Replaced the oil and filter and ran some Seafoam through it. Also added some to the gas.

Removed the bumper and started figuring out how the winch is going to sit. Here it is just sitting in place. I have to have some welding done and find some more plate steel to make it look cleaner.

Congrats on the purchase, other than the small rust issue it looks like a really clean Cruiser!

..maybe 3-4" of lift and some 33x10.50s.

You should be able to clear the 33x10.5 tires without rubbing with an OME 2.5" lift.
