Thank you, not sure why Mitsubishi did not cover crankshaft pulley under warranty since it is known issue
I got quote from Mits dealer timing belt kit 1350$, local shop charging $1100 parts and labor using Olympus parts and labor only $660. this quote is just for complete timing belt kits( front of engine). Another local shop offer me free lookup to see if timing belt were replaced or needs to be replaced.

I'm Getting Around To It
Gates is good for everything in that kit, except I'd get the timing belt tensioner from the dealer as well. Aftermarket ones have been failing on people lately.
I'd also skip the rear cam O-rings/seals unless they're leaking since they're difficult to replace without pulling the engine. Yes, the new crankshaft bolt and washer are solid and seem to be fine. Mine came with loc-tite on it from the factory. All those gaskets you listed are cheaper by buying a set from Fel-Pro off Rock Auto. I used a Timken front main/crankshaft seal and it's just fine, too.

Save all your receipts and note the mileage on the vehicle when you do this work. Gotta start doing it right for this vehicle sometime.

Thx, John

I wish all these parts could be purchased from one vendor or seller, it is difficult specially for some one who is not familiar with these parts, any way it make sense to replace crankshaft bolt and washer while doing timing belt job?

All the parts you listed are about $175-$200 shipped online. It seems like you'll only be saving a few bucks if you skip them as the majority of the cost is labor.

That is correct, however these shops mark up on parts as well, and they are not warranty their work if I buy my own parts, it is really getting frustrating .

None of the parts you listed would be smart to remove from your list. They are all needed. Referencing my previous post about there being two jobs, top of engine and front of engine, if you can't afford to do both, do the timing belt job first, and the spark plug job later. If the timing belt and crank bolt fail, the engine is done. If the spark plugs haven't been changed, the car wont run as efficiently but there's no risk of catastrophic damage. My 2¢.

Oh ok, so you don't have to do the spark plugs, good. No you don't have to do the cam and crank position sensors, it's just cheap insurance to replace them while the front of the engine is opened up.

You're also going to need these parts in addition to what you have posted above:

MITSUBISHI MD 030763 O-ring, Under Plenum Coolant Passage Tube to Rear Water Pump Housing
MITSUBISHI MD 308723 Gasket, Water Pump Housing to Thermostat Housing

I also noticed you don't have the front cam seals listed. You're going to want to replace those also. You'll need two.
