Is that the axle that came with the Harbor Freight trailer, or did you upgrade it? Looks great btw!

It's the same axle - 1750# rating. I have two spacers on each hub to be able to mount the Jeep pull off wheels.

Looks great - was thinking of doing a similar thing - any links to plans or anything? That Harbor Freight trailer is becoming quite the platform!

May I ask where you got the wheel adaptors? I saw that you were out of town, be safe and possibly let me know when you get home?

Hope the shakedown trip was enjoyable, would appreciate if you take time to share details on the build up.

First the trailer was built and modified per the instructions here -

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f27/...ass-jeep-tub-trailer-kit-1274811/index34.html

I used two of the rims that came with 2014 JKU and put a pair of 33" tires on them.

The box was made out of 3/4" birch ply 48" x 48" x 24" and finished with S/W pro enamel paint (sprayed).

Here are some detailed images of the trailer.

Power system - 150 AH deep cycle batt that is recharged with a Renogy 100W solar power system - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HR8YNK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The battery is connected to a ABC switch to allow me to select 12VDC, 110AC, both or off.

The feed lines connect to a 12VDC fuse panel and a 110VAC power strip. I'm a filmmaker and I need the outlets to recharge various batteries.

I have LED lighting in the trailer, exterior and in the tent.

The rolling shelves are made our of 3/4" birch ply and I used inline skate bearings and aluminum angle to create the roller system.

The drawer is made similarly.

The kitchen is also 3/4" birch ply.

The support legs are off an old tripod and slip over some short pieces of dowel to keep them in place

Water is provided via a 11 gal poly tank and an auto diaphragm pump.

I made an initial post showing the electrical and discussing the trailer build but it's pending moderator approval...

Really like your build! Does the slide out and fridge encompass the inside or is there still room for supplies?
